Inspiration- The Virigin Suicides

One of my favorite movies ever is The Virgin Suicides. It has a lovely story, lovely music, and lovely imagery. But I absolutely love the clothing too. The film is by Sofia Copla, and her work always has a dreamy touch to it, something that I love. This film is a huge fashion inspiration for me. It takes place in the 70s....

About the girls of the Libson family....

Narrated by the neighborhood boys who were obsessed with them.

The girls parents are very strict and don't let me out or let them have a normal teenage life.

*Spoiler* So being tired of the being kept in a cage, Cecilia commits suicide.

Leaving the family and the whole town in shock that this family that seemed so happy, wasn't happy. But the girls move on.

Lux, the most sought after girl in the school, grow a crush for the hottest guy, Trip.

When Trip asks Lux to the dance, he has to make sure the other sister can go to. And after much begging, the Libson girls mother lets them go.

But when Lux doesn't come home that night, the girls are punished, leading them to doing some pretty derastic things.

I won't tell you the rest, you have to see for yourself. This movie is for my inspiration for amazing 70s dreamy clothes. It's a must see!

A few days in Paris!-Part 3

My last post from Paris! I had to go to the world famous Laduree and have some tea and macaroons and buy some things for home.

Went to the largest Louis Vitton I have ever seen in my life! Sooo many stories high! I bought a cute little bag I got to show you later, because I got a new camera!

Then I went to Hermes, and they had this amazing exhibit going on in the second level of the store where they showed you how to made the leather goods. I watched some gloves be made.

Then I went shopping at all the famous designer stores on Avenue Montaigne.

Wore my Rodarte for Target Shirt, Lucette skirt from Australia, B.P. studded flats, and Juicy Couture bag.

And when in Paris, you have to visit the first Chanel boutique on Rue Cambon.

A few days in Paris!-Part 2

Ok, so technology doesn't like me right now. I haven't posted in a week because once I edited my pictures they don't show up in the file. Its hard to explain but basically, I can't edit pictures right now. So I am posting the raw version. They are not the best, sorry. But I did get a new camera that should come soon!

Anyways, in Paris we went to the Eiffel Tower. Last time in Paris we went, but we didn't get to go up it. But this time we did, and it was amazing!

I wore my Rodarte for Target dress, Forever 21 Sunglasses, H&M hat, Brass Plum Flats, and Juicy Couture Bag.

A few days in Paris!-Part 1

I told you guys I was going away, so I couldn't post while gone. But I am back and ready to share about Paris! I will have 3 posts about it, and they are a little out of order of the days I did them but that doesn't matter. So I have been to Paris before so their was no need to do all the tourist things that have been done, this time I went just for shopping, how fun is that!

Paris has a super famous flea market, that if you go to the right part, you will find yourself lost in streets full of vintage treasures.e

Many booths were full of vintage magazines, I brought home 3, which I need to scan for you guys. It was amazing to search through all of the clothes, books, and furniture. It was all extremely beautiful. The market is open on sat-mon form 9-6. It is called clignancourt puces de st ouen. If you go you have to check it out.

I also got a amazing ring that I will show you guys.

Wearing L.F. white lace dress, Black sweater that was my moms but it shrunk in the wash, Vintage fox head belt from etsy, Juicy Couture Purse, and studded ballet flats from Nordstrom.

A little bit Hipster

When the summer comes along and when I am not on vacation, I tend to dress more relaxed, start to collect tee shirts. Well, I let that come out in this outfit. This is my chill out hipster out, haha. Because I really am a hipster on the inside.
Skirt is Material Girl from Macy's, top is from American Eagle, socks I have no clue, they are old, and shoes are converse from 2 years ago. They are so beat up.

I leave for germany and france in 2 days so I will have some amazing pics, but I am sure a lot won't get posted till I get back because I will be busy, but I will do my best. Love you all, have a awesome summer!
